I think of the seasons of my life,
The tragedies, the triumphs,
The joys and pain this life has offered,
And I remember the amusement parks I visited,
The smell of cotton candy and
Hot dogs, the sounds
Of teens screaming with glee from the rides,
I remember the Farris wheel,
Going up in the sky like a huge sphere,
And I imagined looking down below,
At the twinkling lights of the city,
The clean fresh breeze blowing in my face,
And now, I think of my life like that farris wheel,
The rocket-splitting joys,
The agonizing sorrows,
But now, the chaos of those years is gone,
And I sit in a warm sun,
Hearing the far away sounds of the amusement parks,
And the breeze scatters the changing leaves of summer,
And now, I'm happy at the moment,
In this season of my life,
For life has been like a fine wine,
Sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter,
But always there for me to drink at will,
And this season of my life,
Is now a peaceful change,
And today, the tears of my past,
Are gone.
Very good. Thanks.
